What we offer

Young children are in their most formative years, therefore at Hope Green we provide a range of opportunities to stimulate and enhance every area of your child’s development.  We understand that your child is an individual, unique in the world, therefore we do all we can to develop individual personalities and characteristics.

Children will have many opportunities to develop and enjoy different types of play, physical, experimental, creative and imaginative through facilities and equipment that is made easily available promoting freedom of choice.

Each day your child will be involved in either sand or water play, creative craft, dressing up, role play, imaginative painting, junk modelling, play dough, building construction, cookery, music, singing as well as many more projects and activities about relevant topics.

A cosy reading/story corner is available with a good collection of story, picture and reference books to encourage young children to warm to the world of language and literature.

Story, language and discussion times are programmed into the daily routine.

Art, craft and creativity play a big part in the programme, encouraging thought and imagination, incorporating colour patterns, textiles and shapes.

Children’s work is displayed throughout the nursery and also maintained in a portfolio.

We participate in the Early Years Education (EYE) and follow the Foundation Phase guidelines.

We assist in the development of your children in their most important years.
